Eligible Circumstances
Rollbacks are NOT automatic and will only be granted if the death was directly caused by:
- Mod Game-Breaking Bugs — A hard-lock or critical mod error that breaks the client/server loop
- Server Network Dropped — Complete loss of connection from the server side
- Server Resource Exhaustion — Server lag or freeze due to hardware limitations
How We Verify
Every request is strictly audited using server metrics at the exact timestamp of your death:
- Server Performance: CPU usage and RAM allocation spikes + Ping Watch
- Network Health: UDP packets per second to determine if connection failed on server or client side
- Server Logs: Console log 5 minutes prior to the death for severe mod error loops
If metrics show a server-side failure → rollback granted. If metrics are clean → considered client-side, no rollback issued.
Bug Severity & Response
CriticalGameplay blockers — resolved ASAP
High ImpactMajor bugs, temporary bypass exists — within 24 hours
MediumFeature not working, alternative exists — within 3 days
LowVisual/text bugs — scheduled for Sunday patch
Why So Strict?
- Database Integrity: Manual DB row edits risk duplicating items, currency, or corrupting saves
- Server Downtime: Rollbacks require the server to be completely stopped (6-20 hour wait for maintenance window)
- Fairness: If a crash affected multiple players, a full-server rollback ensures total fairness
- Scalability: Individual client-side rollback requests are unsustainable for a single admin
How to Request
If you believe your case was caused by a server-side issue:
- Contact the admin directly via DM on Discord
- Provide: exact time of death, character name, any screenshots/clips
- We will investigate the logs and metrics
- If approved, rollback will be processed at the next maintenance window
